1. What we collect
Identity details (name, ID number, selfie) for KYC compliance. Contact details (email, cell) for service notifications. Loan activity (amounts, payments, BTC movements) for account administration. Device + connection metadata for security and fraud prevention.
2. How we use it
To run your loan: verify identity, assess risk, process disbursements, manage repayments, dispatch margin call notifications, and meet our regulatory obligations.
3. Who we share with
Service providers we use to deliver the service (Supabase for data hosting, Smile ID for identity verification, Resend for email, Africa's Talking for SMS, Vercel for hosting). We disclose information to regulators when required by law.
4. Your rights under POPIA
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it (subject to our regulatory record-keeping obligations), and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
5. Retention
We keep records for the period required by South African financial services regulation (currently 5 years after the loan closes).
